Habitat for Humanity Work Day

A team of 15 people from East Heights will work alongside a mother of four on Saturday, Oct. 5, as she builds a Wichita Habitat for Humanity home for her family. Our church has a long tradition of being in ministry with Wichita Habitat so we’re excited for this day of mission! Wichita Habitat has partnered with more than 200 families in our community, helping them build safe, affordable homes. Anyone 16 or older is welcome to volunteer. No experience or tools needed – Habitat provides both. Please register online:

· Visit the Wichita Habitat for Humanity event registration page: http://cerv.is/m?0122rehumc this link will display all events, but only allow sign-up for the Oct. 5 event specifically reserved for East Heights UMC.

· Select the Oct. 5 day reserved for EHUMC and follow the on screen instructions to register. If this is your first time volunteering you will be prompted to create a Volunteer Profile and to read and accept the electronic waiver.
