East Heights United Women in Faith
Easter Heights United Women in Faith is the primary church organization for women of all ages at East Heights and around the world! We sponsor a variety of events and activities, including fundraisers for missions, preparing bereavement luncheons and receptions, and hosting speakers and luncheons.

We seek to connect and nurture women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.

We are a powerful, fearless force driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood. With a focus on women, children and youth, we act for justice and transform communities.
We face the realities we see in the world, even when they are not the ones we would like to see. However, our goal is not to bear witness simply to harms but also to God’s love by acting boldly to change those harms.
Our Action
Bold action, like faith, takes courage. Our bravery is inspired by God’s love and our powerful commitment to improve the lives of women, children and youth. United Women in Faith works for justice through compassionate service and advocacy to change unfair policies and systems that harm women, children and youth—from racial and gender injustice to economic inequality, climate issues and more.

United Women in Faith Circles
One of the many ways to participate in United Women in Faith includes being part of a circle.
By joining a circle, you’ll have the opportunity to develop friendships with other women as you serve and learn together. All our circles welcome you.
CHARITY CIRCLE
Charity Circle is open to women who like to express their Christianity through service. Each month they tackle a new project such as hygiene kits for the homeless, stockings for the Children ‘s Home, volunteering annually at the Open Door Klothes Kloset as well as chores around the church once a year.. Meetings are very informal and project ideas are always welcome. The Charity Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 am in the Covenant Room. DORCAS CIRCLE
Dorcas Circle members sew items for missions and for church ministries. Members meet on Thursdays at the church to sew and enjoy fellowship. Anyone who sews or would like to learn is invited to join Dorcas Circle. Contact Carolyn Kretzer @cgkretzer@msn.com or 882-5080 for a schedule.
HOPE CIRCLE
Hope Circle offers programs that include speakers on topics from local missions, social issues, book discussions and religious music.
Hope Circle meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 pm in the Dining Room.

READING PROGRAM
United Women in Faith recommends a diverse range of books with the intention of broadening exposure to a variety of concepts. The Reading Program does not intend that readers accept each word or idea contained within each book.
We are encouraged to read at least 5 books during the year, one from each of the following categories: education for mission, spiritual growth, social action, nurturing for community, and leadership development. These books are available on a cart marked “Reading Program” in the library..
